Why should I join Rightway instead of investing elsewhere?
Because you become a part-owner of a real, working fleet — not a paper promise. Your membership is governed by a written constitution and a binding investment management agreement, your share of every weekly sale is fixed at 38.8%, and you can log into the same dashboard our managers use to verify every cedi. Few investments in Ghana are this transparent or this hands-on.
How to invest in transport business in Ghana with Rightway?
Send us a WhatsApp message at +233 24 158 8058. An admin will walk you through the constitution and investment management agreement, agree on your starting contribution, bank you in, and issue your official member registration number (RWTSRNO.xxx). Your investor portal goes live the same day.
What protects my money once I contribute?
Three things: (1) our co-operative constitution that defines your rights, voting power, profit share and exit procedure; (2) a signed investment management agreement that locks in the 38.8% weekly profit distribution and the 11-category sales split; and (3) a fully open ledger you can audit at any time from your portal.
What is the minimum contribution to join?
We agree on each contribution personally so members can match the amount to their goals — students, traders, professionals and diaspora investors are all welcome. There is no fixed minimum. Speak with an admin and we'll structure something realistic for you.
How are profits shared?
38.8% of every weekly sale is automatically pooled and distributed pro-rata based on each member's ownership percentage. Distributions happen the same day a sale is recorded — no waiting for end-of-month reports, no manual approvals.
Where does the rest of the money go?
Every weekly sale is split into 11 categories defined in the agreement: 38.8% profit to members, 19% engine reserve, 10% maintenance, 8.3% driver pay, 8% investment management, 5.5% tyres, 5.4% oil change, 2.5% comprehensive insurance, 1% road-use certificate, 1% brakes, and 0.5% hydraulic oil. Every category is a real budget you can inspect.
Who drives the vehicles I'm investing in?
Only certified, regulator-trained professionals. Every Rightway driver holds a valid DVLA professional licence, completes defensive-driving and route-familiarisation training, passes our internal code-of-conduct test, and is reviewed continuously through trip logs and incident reports. Careful, professional drivers protect both your asset and your weekly profit.
What happens if a vehicle breaks down or has an accident?
We've planned for it. 19% of every sale builds an engine reserve, 10% funds maintenance, 2.5% covers comprehensive insurance, and 1% pays for the road-use certificate. Combined with our trained drivers, this means breakdowns are budgeted for — not surprises that wipe out your returns.
Can I see what is happening with my money in real time?
Yes. Members log into the same dashboard our managers use. You see live revenue, expenses, your contribution history, your ownership percentage, every weekly distribution, and a downloadable PDF statement — any time, from any device.
Is there a maintenance reserve?
Yes — 10% of every weekly sale is automatically transferred into a maintenance budget ledger. Combined with the 19% engine reserve, this ensures vehicles stay roadworthy and revenue continues without surprise capital calls on members.
How do I get my profit share?
Once a weekly sale is recorded, the system computes each member's share and credits it to your account in the ledger. You can view it instantly, download a PDF statement, and arrange withdrawal at any time — no paperwork, no chasing.
Can I leave or withdraw my contribution?
Yes. The constitution defines a clear exit procedure. Speak to an admin and we'll plan a withdrawal in line with current cash flow, without disrupting fleet operations or other members' returns.
Do I have a say in how the co-operative is run?
Yes. As a registered member you have voting rights on major decisions — fleet expansion, governance changes and policy updates — exactly as set out in the constitution. This is your business, not just your investment.
Is Rightway registered in Ghana?
Rightway Transport Services Limited is registered and operates in Ghana, with its base in Accra and fleet operations across Greater Accra, Ashanti and beyond. Our drivers, vehicles and insurance are all fully compliant with DVLA and NRSA regulations.
What is the best transport investment opportunity in Africa?
